“Belong Anywhere” and the Bélo were introduced to the world a year prior in July 2014. A year later, Airbnb began celebrating Bélo Day to mark the anniversary of the articulation of our mission, by sharing some of the inspiring, delightful, moving. and silly moments that happen in our community each day. In the years since, we have continued to host Bélo Day to remind employees of the power of our community, that we are a part of something greater than ourselves, and why we as employees must Champion the Mission.
